The
gated community of Eagle Point is located just north of the island of
Venice. This waterfront community has its roots as a olde Florida hunting
and fishing camp. The original 10 resort cottages still exist,
most have been updated. The vast majority of the homes have been built since
the early 1990's and are architecturally "Key West" style
homes. Many of the homes are waterfront properties on Roberts Bay. Many of
the remaining non-waterfront properties have deeded boat docks.
